Golden Sands ("Zlatni Pyasytsi") is probably the most popular and "densely populated" resort of the entire chain, which stretches along the Black Sea coast between Varna and Kavarna. And despite the fact that development in the terms of tourism, it has become relatively recently, only in the mid-1950s. Golden Sands Beach awarded the Blue Flag, the resort has a balneary, hot sulfur springs, sports facilities, entertainment and all kinds of infrastructure for children and adults, as well as cafes, restaurants, discos and so on. In a word, it is a reference Bulgarian resort.

Topographically, the resort is an easy, flat, straight and wide strip of sand (one of the longest beaches in the country), which are arranged along the hotels and motels. Of more specific interest may be mentioned Aladzha rock monastery, caves, ancient ruins, and a few ethno complexes where working craft shops, and souvenirs can be purchased. In addition to the beach and the hotels there is same-titled Natural Park protected by the state deciduous forest.

The landscape of the natural park is mountain terrace, so families with young children, chooses the hotel on the first line.

Monuments in Golden Sands are Chapel St. John the Baptist, two-story rock monastery Aladzha (14 in.) and the famous mineral springs.

You can visit Casino "Red Cancer" bars-variety show "Astoria" and "Russian Troika" nightclubs "Gypsy camp", "Skate picnic", "Bunkers" disco, Go Go Girls and others. Sport resort centers offer boat, water skiing, surfing, motor boats, "bananas", "Jet", parasailing, water slides, playing in a tennis school for children and adults, 10 tennis courts, equestrian base, basketball and mini-golf course, bowling alley. Yacht port "Golden Sands" with three equipped piers offers boat rentals and excursions on yachts. There are amusement park with water slides, trampoline, children's railway, children's karting, archery, motor racing and more for children.

During the season the resort hosts various entertainment events: parades, beauty contests, tournaments, festivals, competitions, perform well-known pop singers (Bulgarian and foreign).
