Truskavets is situated 100 km south from Lviv in the valley of the northern foothills of the Eastern Carpathians at an altitude of 350 m above sea level. The resort features fourteen mineral springs and deposits of "mountain wax" - ozokerite. The resort is very compact, gradually acquiring the European style: a lot of shops, boutiques, restaurants, discotheques, a supermarket and a cinema. The season lasts all year round, and its "peak" period is from May to October.

The main therapeutic factors of the resort - mineral water and mineral wax, they complement the forest air and a good ecological environment. In Truskavets, there are two main pump rooms - "upper" and "lower" (pump room - building directly above the mineral springs).
